Google recently paid homage to the Indian legend Krishnakumar Kunnath or KK by a decent doodle on October 25, making an animated image of KK with the microphones. The tribute undoubtedly marked his Bollywood debut and lasting contribution to Indian music and cinema. KK was born on August 23, 1968, in Delhi, and his music became a famous icon for across generation.

Krishnakumar Kunnath kk started his career in music after graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi where he pursued B.Com (Hons). And his true love was singing. In 1994, KK sent a demo tape of one his songs to Lesle Lewis and we asked him to come back for top level performing work in professional jingles. And his subsequent career in Bollywood began a year later with the 1996 song ‘Chhod Aaye Hum’ from Gulzar’s Maachis, which sealed his place as one of India’s most unique voices.
